Message Context Menu

The message context menu gives you quick access to actions for any message in a chat conversation.

Open the context menu

• On desktop: Hover over a message to reveal the toolbar, then click or tap More actions (⋯). You can also right-click a message to open the context menu directly.
• On mobile: Tap a message to open the context menu.

Available actions

• React — add an emoji reaction to the message.
• Edit message — edit a message you have sent. This option is only available for your own messages.
• Forward message — share the message into another conversation.
• Copy text — copy the message text to your clipboard. Available for text messages only.
• Delete message — permanently delete a message you have sent. This option is only available for your own messages.

Coming soon

The following actions will be available in a future update:

• Pin message — pin an important message in a conversation.
• Share — share a message externally.
