Forward a Message

You can share a message from one conversation into another.

Forward a message

1. Hover over the message you want to forward.
2. Click or tap More actions (⋯) in the toolbar that appears above the message, or right-click (or long-press on mobile) to open the context menu.
3. Select Forward message.
4. Search for or select a person or channel from the list.

• If the message is from a public channel, it will be forwarded immediately upon selection.
• If the message is from a private conversation, you will be prompted to confirm before sending. Click or tap Forward to complete.

Note: You can only forward to one conversation at a time. Forwarded messages from private conversations will be labelled Forwarded from a private conversation in the destination conversation.
