Edit a Message

You can edit a message you have already sent in a chat conversation.

Edit a message

1. Hover over the message you want to edit.
2. Click or tap More actions (⋯) in the toolbar that appears above the message.
3. Select Edit message.
4. The message will appear in the compose box. Make your changes and press Enter to save.

Quickly edit your last message

If you just sent a message, press the up arrow key on your keyboard while the compose box is empty to immediately load your last message for editing.

Note: You can only edit your own messages. Edited messages will be marked to indicate they have been changed.
